"le super chouette"- exterior flap pockets, fabric covered buttons, funnel neckline, brightly colored plaid, super soft stretch jersey lining. Mix of repurposed and new fabrics. A fun jumper for all seasons.
"la matrice de grille" (grid array) is a one-of a kind. The front of the scoop neck bodice and cap sleeves are made from a vintage printed silk scarf that i found at "the bins" (the goodwill of goodwills) in Portland. The back of the bodice is fine, navy blue, sheer, silk chiffon, and has a full zip. The waist trim and fabric covered buttons are a charteuse silk dupioni. ( i love that stuff, it's like cutting through butter). The pleated skirt is a medium/heavy weight grey heather wool. Very warm and it adds substantial weight to the silk and chiffon bodice. The bodice is fully lined in a soft cream felt. I shed a little tear when this one was sold.

"La Reine des Ceours" dress. One of my favorite designs that can transition nicely from a late summer staple to a fun fall frock. Just pair it with a longsleeve shirt and warm knit leggings underneath.

I am a self taught Fashion designer pursuing a Masters in Sustainability at The London College of Fashion. Everything with the 'aiguille et fil''needle and thread' brand is made by hand with consideration towards origin of materials as well as impact on the user and their future life with each garment. I repurpose fibers, details, and vintage elements often.
